Q: How often do you meet.
During the summer months we organise a ride out once a week in the evenings and on weekend days during winter.

 

 

Q: What is your most unique Bike

Currently there is one Indian Scout bike in the club which is owned by Joe O' Toole. It was manufactured in 1947.

 



Q: What about overseas trips.
Each year we travel to the Red Knights European meeting in different parts of Europe. Every second year we attend the Ireland / U.K. meeting in the U.K.

Q: Are you linked Internationally.

Yes we are affiliated to the Red Knights International and we comply fully with the guidelines laid down by them.

 

Q: Do you welcome other clubs.

We are more than happy to host visiting clubs from around the world. We also encourage web links with other clubs.

 

Q: How Many Members do you have
Currently there are 14 active members and 6 Oversea's members in the club.

Q: Where do we meet up.
Mostly we meet at Frankfield Service Station and begin each Ride Out from there.

Q: What is the Grand Tour.
A tour of nine fire stations whose first letter in total form the words G R A N D T O U R
i.e Galway Fire Station = G etc... Also there is the FIREHOUSE & RED KNIGHTS tour.

Q: Who can join the club.
Any serving or retired Firefighter in the Fire Services, including those in private industry. Also their family members may join as associate members and participate in any Ride Out.
