A very enjoyable gathering of Ireland 1 and England 2 was held today in Cork City. After a leisurley morning the group who were joined by members of Green Knights and Three 9's MC headed out on a spin.

The spin took us down towards Kinsale on to Old Head of Kinsale, and back via the 911 Garden of Rememberance in Ringfinnan.

Thanks to Road Captain, Ger "Barney" Barriscale, who selected and led the run. He did a great job with the route but unfortunately he couldn't do anything with the weather, as very heavy downpours 'were visited upon the group" throughout the run.

After dinner at the hotel, Anthony O'Donoghue, President Ireland 1, welcomed everyone, especially European President Pierre Halleaux., members of Green Knights and The Three 9's MC. To mark the occasion he presented each group with a memento of the occasion.

Steve Williamson also presented Ireland 1 with a lovely steel plaque from Sheffield, 'City of Steel'
